About Lincoln Primary Care Center

Since 1975

Lincoln Primary Care Center is located in Hamlin, Lincoln County, West Virginia.  It first opened in 1975 in a vacant grocery store.  In 1990 the center moved into a new, modern facility and provides comprehensive medical care with particular emphasis on the family.  It has expanded to provide a wide range of services including patient transport service by the Health Net helicopter, as well as more traditional health services.

Lincoln Primary Care Center has a qualified staff of Physicians, Pediatricians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurse, Registered Dietician, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, Lab Technician, X-ray Technician, Exercise Physiologist, Certified Diabetic Educator, Community Health Educator, and a Social Worker.

To complement the qualified time staff, there are specialists from a wide range of fields that make regular visits to the center for referrals.  These areas include:

Partnerships

  • Lincoln County Board of Education operating a school based wellness center at Guyan Valley Middle School, Lincoln County High School, and Dubal Middle & Elementary School.

  • Works closely with The Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University by providing opportunities for centeral rotations for medical students, interns, and residents.  They also coordinate various research programs.
